Patreon Shop update

Heya,

A little while ago Patreon made changes to their shop function, by replacing it completely with 'paid posts'. This has the unfortunate effect that products made using the 'old shop feature' can no longer be updated or edited at all.

This is causing some issues as I want to be able to provide you guys with free updates to things you've purchased, specifically the upcoming animation update where I'll need to provide updated rigs for all the Monthly Mystery characters. I'm aiming to have this update done by the end of October.

Patreon's support hasn't been helpful in providing a solution other than 'have your customers purchase the newer version seperately'.. Seeing as they introduced and removed the shop feature in a span of roughly a year I don't have much confidence in this 'paid post' system sticking around either so I won't be using it to sell any assets.

This will mean that my Patreon Shop will be closed shortly, monthly character releases will resume as normal though!

To ensure that no one loses access to anything they've purchased, and are able to receive updates:

I've spent today so far sending out ~200 messages with itch keys to anyone who's purchased Mystery Monthly Series 4, 5, or the Platformer Pack through my Patreon shop.

I can't easily determine who was eligible to receive which bundles at their time of release. To make it as fair as possible for everyone I want to give all Mystery Monthly tier supporters and above a chance to claim keys for the bundles for free. Hopefully everyone will be able to access and update their Mystery Monthly Character bundles through itch going forward and no one's lost any access.

Mystery Monthly Tier Supporters (and above) have the next 10 days to claim the Mystery Series 4 and 5 bundles on itch for free, even if you didn't purchase or weren't a subscriber at the time of their release.

You will need an itch account in order to claim the keys, once you do they'll be yours forever and will be able to receive updates as soon as they're available.

I understand this is not an ideal solution, but unfortunately I don't have much choice since Patreon took away features I relied on.

Mystery Monthly Series 1,2, and 3, are legacy assets and will not receive updates. They won't be available for purchase any longer, but anyone who did will still have access to them.

EDIT: Turns out that there's some issues with itch/patreon on determining whether you've got an active pledge or not. It might be related to cancelling your sub before the month is over and itch doesn't see that as 'active pledge'.. I'm not sure. If you currently have an active subscription according to Patreon, but no access on itch, you can DM me here and I'll get you keys manually!
