Regarding Patreon's changes with the IOS app store
Added 2024-08-14 08:01:01 +0000 UTCPatreon has recently made an announcement regarding the IOS app store. Basically, starting NOVEMBER 2024, all NEW Patreon members will be charged an additional 30% fee IF THEY SUBSCRIBE THROUGH THE APP STORE.
However, Patreon states that EXISTING SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE UNAFFECTED, but if you ever stop your patronage and would like to rejoin, please do not do it through the app store or you will be charged an additional 30%. Using other methods (like using the web) should remain unaffected.
