DOROTHY Part 13 - Beatrice Blue's Mombi and Wizard Designs

It feels a little unfair posting these as not nearly enough time was done getting them right, but here are some designs for Mombi and the Wizard by
Beatrice Blue.

We tried to make them an old married couple, fighting for control of both Oz, Ozma and eventually Dorothy. Neither side are in the right and both do terrible things to make their point.

This was also at a time where our partner studio was insisting on their being an extra TWIST involving the Wizard, so I had proposed that Mombi and the Wizard were secretly Auntie Em and Uncle Henry, who had come to Oz too in that cyclone but had arrived years earlier and lost their memories. Dorothy wouldn't recognise them at first either... but it just was so convoluted and really went against my desire to do faithful adaptations, so... I doubt I would've gone all the way with it.

THIS WILL BE MY FINAL OZ UP DATE FOR A WHILE. I hope you enjoyed this journey?? I love this world, I love this series, and it is my ultimate dream to make one day. But will I? We shall seeeeeee.
