Ever since drawing Peach, I have been really wanting to draw Rosalina! Finally managed to squeeze her in!
Rewards for Rosalina will be in Art Pack 28!
Last weekend I did live drawing sessions at the wacom booth at Comic Con Stockholm. I have such mixed feelings about the experience. On one hand, I found it very exciting and I enjoyed connecting with the lovely team at wacom and with folks at the convention that came by to watch and talk with me. On the other hand drawing and public speaking in front of a live audience is pretty terrifying! I feel like my drawing and speaking was probably really sloppy but I have been trying to remind myself that I did the best that I could and that kind of thing is something that can only improve with practice. My husband also informed me that I am my own worst critic.... I don't want it to sound like I had a negative experience, because it was all quite positive other then my own nerves. Despite my intense nervousness at it all, I think if given the right opportunity, I might do it again.
For now I don't have any more big event or convention plans lined up. On the "life" side of things, my husband and I won the bidding for buying a flat (our first time not renting!), so there will be moving stuff to deal with in the coming months that might interfere with art... but hopefully not too much. I am pretty excited about what my new home office/studio space will be! Maybe I'll give a little tour once it is all set up in November.
Anyway, that's all the mini updates from me for now!
Have a lovely day y'all!
