Rayla Process Video
Added 2019-12-02 19:52:50 +0000 UTCHello! I have a special treat for you! I've gotten an influx of questions asking about if I record my process and post the videos anywhere.
My answer is: not usually, because I'm often drawing on the go or on small breaks at work, so I'm not always in a position to record the process. But since there is such interest, I will try and do a recording every once and a while for you.
Since I drew this on a Saturday and had a chunk of time to just sit down and work on it one go, I managed to get a recording! Yay! So please enjoy this sped up process video! I hope you find it helpful!

Yay! Yeah, my sketching process is super rough. This one was especially rough! But that's one reason I love sketching with the smooth watercolor brush in CSP. Its really great a pushing paint around and suites my process. If you sketch like me and haven't tried that brush out in CSP, I recommend giving it a go. Its one of the default water color brushes. And yeah, I abuse blending modes and correction layers like crazy! haha.

2019-12-02 20:13:49 +0000 UTCLove this! My sketches start out similarly. The shapes have to be honed and refined, almost sculpted, right up until the final line art. It’s also fun to watch your layers window as you play around with textures and blending modes. Thanks for sharing! 👍
