The Archer's Journey

The archer had come far on this journey through the lush mountainside, and still had much farther to go. She knew that she should keep moving, cover as much ground as possible while there was still light, but the pastel colors of the sky, the gentle sweep of the clouds over the forest below, and the soft sounds of nature caused her to stop and take a moment to just breathe and take it all in.

The crisp mountain air filling her lungs as she settled herself near a ledge and looked out at the scenery below and beyond. Even though she had been trekking through these mountains for days, gathering healing herbs along the way, she still appreciated the beauty that nature had to offer, and the moment of peace it provided. She knew that when she finally reached her ultimate destination peaceful moments like this would be far and in between.

It didn’t take long of sitting there before the sun vanished behind the distant mountains. The archer let out a soft sigh before turning away from the cliff edge, to stand up and resume her journey. Best to find a safe place to set up camp before night truly came.
