Color Study {with speedpaint video}

You may have noticed in the art pack 39 (go make sure you grab that before the end of the BTW!!!) that I included a couple of little rough painting photo studies.

I have been starting to do more of these because I think they are really helpful, especially when it comes to understanding color and lighting. They are also relatively quick to do, and don't need to be overly polished to call "complete". In fact, something I really like about these types of paintings is seeing how they are a little rougher.

I didn't time myself on this one but I probably spent about 2ish hours painting it on the ipad while watching tv.

In other news: Tomorrow is my Birthday! Yay for one more year! Haha! Tonight I am living it up by staying at a FANC-AY hotel in Stockholm while I pretend to be a rich tourist in my own city. lol It'll be grand.

So I may be a little absent from online stuff for tonight and tomorrow, although I probably won't be able to resist sharing some stuff in my Instagram stories.

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, and I apologize for all of the sudden posts! I feel like I am finally catching up with all the work that needed to be done here and need to share it with you!
