Maybe you are the type of artist who finds yourself doing lots of studies, or sketches but have a hard time pushing your work to a finished illustration.
Or maybe you are the type that sets out to make some finished illustrations but just can’t seem to push much of what you start to completion.  I was like this too for a long time!
Doing studies and sketches isn’t a bad thing!  But what if you want more finished artworks to showcase?
Let's talk about some techniques that will help you plan and push more of your works beyond studies and sketches, to a complete piece!

In this 10 Page article I go over techniques I have used and still use to push myself to finish multiple illustrations every month.  Big thank you to those of you who requested this topic!

The pdf of the article is attached to this post for you to download and read at your leisure!

You know what... that actually helps. Even tho I already knew a lot of those tips there were parts when it just make sense and I never thought about it earlier. Especially now when I am able to set some kind of schedule for myself. Even the simple thing of completing artwork per month instead of what I was tying to do with “I need to do it this weekend”. Your way gives me more leeway and seems much less stressful. I need to do for myself a banner with “finished is better than perfect” in plain sight as well, it’s absolute great motto for doing illustrations 😂🤩
