πŸ–ŒοΈMy Top 5 Brushes in CSPπŸ“½οΈ//Video

Hello pals!  I thought I would put together a quick little video showing you my 5 most frequently used brushes in Clip Studio Paint!

the first 4 brushes are default brushes and are included in clip studio paint automatically.

The last brush is a custom brush that I made and I'm including the brush for you to download here!  It is attached to the bottom of this post!  Enjoy!

EDIT: I added the Wet Grit Watercolor Brush to download for you

Ooh! It sounds like you were able to download it? Just in case, I added the instructions on how to download on iPad in safari.

ChrissaBug

Hey, so when I try to download them on my iPad Pro, it seems like they don’t? Is there a way you can send them via e - mail or do you know how to download them to the iPad? EDIT: I needed to not do it from the app hehe

Trine

I thought it said 'crushes' and I was like "Is CSP some kinda book/game/movie series?" πŸ˜‚ ...

Roy

There is a procreate version of the brush pack and video: https://www.patreon.com/posts/54091665 πŸ’•

ChrissaBug

Is it possible to use the brushes in procreate?

Benjamin Irzik

Oh! Glad they worked!

ChrissaBug

hi Chrissabug, i cant download you brushes because the file finished in ".sut" :( EDIT: I DID IT YEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Dana Art

Awesome! I'm so glad it helps!

ChrissaBug

This already helped me a lot, thank you so much! O.O

Redoniaa

Oh! That is brilliant! I shall have to try it out then because I tend to worry about making the line art to perfect. Thank you for that. I am excited to experiment with this thought.

Chantel Wilkes

It does come down to personal preference mostly since I prefer my lineart to have more texture. The g-pen is really smooth so when I do lineart with the g-pen I can get really caught up in trying to make the lineart perfect and loose some of the personality. With a more textured brush, I feel a bit more free like I am drawing with a dark pencil and I don’t get hung up on making every little detail smooth and perfect.

ChrissaBug

I'm not sure if this would be the right place to ask this but why do you like the chrissa messy brush for line art compared to other brushes like the g-pen? Is there any other reason besides just your preference?

Chantel Wilkes

Oooh, that's weird. I went ahead and attached the default brushes to this post for you so you can manually install them if you want.

ChrissaBug

I actually can’t find the first brush πŸ˜… I tried searching but i dunno

Chaeli Pitts

Yes thank you!! So keen for it πŸ™Œ

Mini Bean

For sure. I was just thinking that we needed a video like this for procreate. CSP was easiest to start with since this was a super spur of the moment video but I'll definitely try and squeeze in a procreate version soon.

ChrissaBug

Oo can u do something like this for procreate brushes too? 😍 I have previously used clip studio and love pretty much the same brushes but have now bought an ipad and struggling to find equivalent brushes

Mini Bean

YW! I hope it helps!

ChrissaBug

I realized after uploading that I needed to update the brush to properly accept color. The updated version should work now! Sorry if that caused any confusion. Make sure to grab the updated Chrissa Messy brush.

ChrissaBug

Thank you!! I've been looking for good brushes for a long time <3

Hissho

I'm not sure how to convert csp brushes to procreate, but the brush that I prefer to use in procreate for linear is actually one of their defaults. I really love the calligraphy>Chalk brush in procreate

ChrissaBug

Can i improt this brush in procreate too or only clipstudio? Or have u a brush like that for procreate??
