The first thing you notice as your consciousness slowly starts to return is how heavy you feel. Almost as if you are rooted to the ground upon which you lay.

Slowly you rub lift your hand to rub away the crusted sap from the corners of your eyes and blink your gaze open. What happened exactly?

You notice your bow on the forest floor beside you. Right where you dropped it. But something's not right. It is covered in moss, and grasses, the forest reclaiming it as if it has been in that very spot for a very long time. Long forgotten. That can't be right though. You had just entered this forest, blacked out and... how long were you unconscious?

You sit up and your bones creek in protest. That's when you notice, it isn't just the bow that the forest has reclaimed.

Here is my entry for part 3 of the Lost in the Magic Forest Challenge! I would actually love to go back and do part 2 as well. Maybe I will squeeze it in sometime next month or the month after. But for now I had a lot of fun first designing the darkwood Fae and now showing my player character and what the dark magic of the forest is turning her into. Do not get lost in the Mörkwood!
