✨New Art//Among Shadows and Branches

Seated upon the soft forest floor, her crimson gown cascading like spilled wine around her, the mists that hugged the forest shivered.  The forest's ever constant melodies fell into a heavy silence, an acknowledgement of a primal predator's approach.  Sure enough, a shadow wolf emerged, prancing out of the mists, it's scarlet double eyes blazing, drawing near, yet she remained unmoved.  Only the faint curve of her lips betrayed her delight, a silent greeting of her age-old companion.

Here's an illustration that I've been working on for an upcoming collaborative book project! 🎨 I'm actually putting together a walkthrough tutorial for this illustration that will be exclusive for the book, so I'll let you all know more about it when the book is announced and goes live! If you like fantasy art, I think you will like the book!📚✨

This is one of those projects that I've been super excited to do, and yet at the same time, it's another thing I've been juggling in my long to-do list, so I'm happy to check it off my list soon! Haha!

Do you kind of get Red Riding Hood vibes from this piece? 🐺 It wasn't necessarily intended, but I do so love dark Red Riding Hood-inspired works.  I ALSO seem to be in a mood for this sort of desaturated with RED accents sort of color scheme!  Do you ever go through color scheme phases where you seem to do multiple artworks with similar color schemes in a row?  I have definitely noticed that I do that more and more as of late.
