✨New Art//The Goblin's Bride
Added 2023-09-01 14:00:09 +0000 UTCIn the heart of the forest, an eerie stillness envelopes the young woman, her presence here, in the cold night, a fragile surrender to the sinister dance of fate. Her eyes close in acceptance, a mask of resignation carved by the necessity to save all she has ever known. Behind her, the distinct ringing of fae bells chimes, heralding the looming presence of her goblin groom, emerging from the shadows, come to claim his sacrificed bride.
Oookay it must be getting closer and closer to spoopy season! What can I say, I love a spoopy gothic romance.
This is a piece I started on stream a bit randomly as a new original piece to work on! Not only is the idea inspired by some gothic romance but also her dress is somewhat inspired by one of the costumes in Crimson Peak. I LOVE the Edwardian costuming in that film so much, not that this is exactly Edwardian style but the cut is similar.
I have one Gothic Romance book to recommend that is kind of inspired by Labrynth and Phantom of the Opera if any of you are interested for your fall reading. It is called: Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones. Do any of you have some good Fall Book recommendations for spoopy season?
