Next in our lineup of Fate Calls the Elf queen Character portraits is Thane, warrior king! All of these portraits are going to be printed in the first edition of Fate Calls the Elf Queen (unless that plan has changed on the author's end)! 📚✨

Thane is such a powerful character, who I think at his heart is good but at the same time isn't afraid to get blood on his hands. Always interesting reading those morally gray charters to me!

Thane and Layla are undoubtedly the lead characters of the first 2 books but there is ONE final main character that makes an appearance at the VERY end of the second book's cliff hanger! Eep! Keep a look out for his art coming soon!!

🖤 It's been so fun working in this grayscale style.
My goal was to make it look like it had been painted with either gray watercolor or watered down black ink. Which, I just realized is PERFECT for inktober (even though I don't really participate in inktober)🖋️✒️ You can take a look at the lineart and the sketch by scrolling through the image stack.
