Lilith, Goddess or Mother of Demons, embodies both the untamed essence of femininity and defiance against societal norms, challenging conventions and embracing independence.

Lilith isn't always who I first think of when I imagine mythological goddesses, but after a number of people requested her over the years, I decided to do some digging and learn more about her. And oh my! What a fascinating story she has that I had never heard about!

Here is a quick and rough summary as I understand it from my limited research!

In Jewish folklore, Lilith is often depicted as the first wife of Adam, created equally from the same earth. However, refusing to submit to Adam, she was banished from the garden of Eden. Over time her story has evolved in various mythologies, portraying her as a goddess, a seductress, and a mother of demons.

Anyhoo, I thought she would be a perfect edition for October to the mythology series! I hope y'all like her!
