- Avoiding "Same-Face" Syndrome In this tutorial we will go over how to vary facial features in order to avoid 'same face syndrome' and make each character more unique and recognizable.
- Lighting Sources In this tutorial, we'll go through how to think about and setup different light sources in a scene and how to keep that lighting scheme consistent throughout the piece.
- Build up a drawing from simple to complex: We'll start with a simple drawing and then go through the process of expanding on that drawing to build it up into a more complex piece.
- Lineart Tutorial (new and updated!} It has been a few years since the last lineart tutorial, so it is time for an update. This new lineart tutorial will go over my process for lineart, and important principles to keep in mind. We'll also go over some tips and "finishing moves" that you can do to make your lineart look like a stand alone piece. No coloring required!
- Painting Metals (silver, gold, bronze, brushed, rust, etc.) In this tutorial, I'll show you how I go about painting metallic textures for things like accessories and armor in a simplified but effective way. (we did have a mini metal tutorial in both the dresses and armor tutorials, but this tutorial will be more in depth)
- Drawing Animals (dog, cat, bunny, etc.) Let's draw some animals! I'm no animal expert, but that's okay, because I'll show you how I use reference and approach drawing animals even if I have never drawn a particular animal before!
- Male Body types This tutorial will be about how to draw various male body types! (similar to our female body types tutorial!) We'll cover proportions and forms to create different body shapes.
- Hairstyles for guys Let's draw some hairstyles for guys, mainly focusing on short hairstyles.
- Rendering Natural Textures (like Wood, Rock and Foliage) This rendering tutorial will be about how to paint natural textures such as wood, tree bark, stone, and foliage. Once you have an idea of how to paint these textures, you can take this knowledge into your illustrations for rendering backgrounds and objects!
- My essential workspace and tools in Clip Studio Paint This is the perfect tutorial for those wanting to get into or learn how to work in clip studio paint as an illustrator. I'll go over how I prefer my workspace setup and the essential tools that I use throughout my process.
- Drawing Dramatic Emotions We have a couple expression tutorials already, but this one will be focused on the more extreme end of drawing emotions. Emotions such as anguish, rage, laughing, terror, etc.

2024-02-01 13:46:59 +0000 UTCA new updated lineart tutorial for CSP would be awesome. Would also love to see tutorials on your process on working with photo references. If you do that, for drawing the face and body proportions.
