🎬Speedpaint//Loki

Hello hello! Here is the time-lapse speedpaint🖌️ with music for : Loki 

Thank you guys for your votes on which god to tackle first in my list.  Loki won by a landslide!  haha  Like I mentioned in the post, he was super fun to draw and I'm sure will appear again in more pieces in the future.

A Little About the Process

I do feel like this piece flowed somewhat easily but then when Iooked back at the timelapse, it actually seemed to take me longer then a half body piece like this would normally.  To be fair, I have been a bit scattered with lots of things going on between work projects and then the cat fostering/adopting situation.  (if you have seen my instagram stories, maybe you know about it.  If you haven't, I'm thinking of making a blog post to tell the whole story and share some pictures.  Though I want to wait a little bit to see how things pan out first).

ANYWAY, while I was drawing him, I took a couple quick work in progress photos and shared them to my instagram stories and had people guess which god he was.  The first round was a not great because I don't think I got any correct guesses, which told me he didn't have the right vibe.  Really valuable feedback!  So after that first round, I adjusted his expression and made his smile more cheeky.  I also thinned him out a little.  He is still obviously very muscular, but has less bulk then how I initially drew him.  After those adjustments and starting on a bit of color, I posted another work in progress shot for guesses, and got a lot more correct responses.  Success!!
