Added 2024-05-31 10:29:56 +0000 UTCOn of my favorite to draw goddesses, Aphrodite! Here is the piece that really started me down the path of goddess and mythology artwork!
Despite this being back from 2021, I still really love this piece. I like how soft she looks and I love the minimal rendering. This is also one of the first pieces where I started playing around with my grainy watercolor brush.
I included the most recent Aphrodite in the image stack so that you can compare how she has changed over the years! I hope you like this little throwback!
