Hello my lovelies! I hope you are doing well!

Despite being on a pause this month, I still wanted to squeeze in a personal piece to celebrate this special time of year!

Midsummer is coming up, and it is a very big deal here in Sweden, and it's no surprise. Most of the year we have cold, gray weather. The winter nights are long and even as someone who has always liked winter, the winters here can be a struggle.

When the sun finally peeks it's head out, the weather turns warm(ish!) and the landscape explodes with lush greenery and birdsong thanks to the long summer days, people here really appreciate it. You will often be walking on a path and notice multiple Swedes standing with their eyes closed facing the sun so that they can soak it in. Even I have adopted this strange-looking ritual.

  After so long of no sun, it feels so good on your skin. Almost a spiritual experience. You can start to understand why the sun was worshiped and why there are so many sun deities in mythology.

Anyhoo! I'm still working on projects, but they are surely getting closer and closer to complete. Thanks y'all for hanging in there with me during this pause. I am SUPER excited to show you all of the different projects I've been doing once they are revealed. I don't know exact release dates for all of them, but I have a feeling at least a few will be revealed in autumn, so I think it will be a very exciting fall around here!!
