Hello hello! Here is the time-lapse speedpaint🖌️ with music for : Tam

A little about the process

I feel like this portrait had a pretty good flow from the beginning. I'm not sure if it's just the brooding character that spoke to me, or what! haha! But I found drawing Tam's portrait especially fun.

Looking at how much the features and everything change from the initial rough sketch is so wild though! Looking back at these, a part of me thinks, "Did I REALLY send THOSE rough sketches to my client!? oh gosh! 😱😳🙈" I'm glad she trusted me despite my extremely messy sketching style!

You'll see in the process that I also initially painted this shading and features in a bit more of an... eerie way. I kinda still like the look, but it did make him look a bit ... spooky or alien. So after some feedback, I softened everything up a bit more. Part of me wants to take that earlier look and turn it into a different original piece or something since I still kinda like it, even if it didn't fit this character.

Anyhoo! Happy watching, and keep an eye out for the next portrait later today! It is one of my FAVORTES of the bunch!
