Out of all the characters, Wylie comes off as the most level headed to me, and I always appreciate his calm and straightforward energy amidst the cast of characters in the Keeper of the Lost Cities books.
It was really fun working with his warm color scheme and trying to hint at his powers over light through the colors and background design elements.
Since this is a commercial commission, I can't include all of the downloadable files that I normally would, but I put together some of the sketch images and iterations so you can see the progress. 📸✏️
