✨New Art//Valkyrie (NSFW warning on some images)
Added 2024-10-26 13:00:10 +0000 UTCA Valkyrie, from Old Norse: Valkyrja, meaning 'chooser of the slain', is a female warrior who guides the fallen souls to Valhalla.
I know the colors are really bright for the season, but for some reason I got an urge to draw a light artwork based on Norse mythology. I think it is because I just finished reading the book 'A Fate Inked in Blood," which is a fantasy book based in norse myth. (it's a great read btw!)
This character isn't actually based on any specific figure in a book or myth, but just my first go at drawing a valkyrie. Although, part of me wants to try drawing a Valkyrie again but lean into a slightly darker approach that really shows the side of them that works with the dead. Maybe I'll manage to get to that before spooky season is over!
Anyhoo, I hope you like her! She will likely be the Spicy Print for November. I really like the scars on her body in the NSFW version! I think it adds interesting history and character!

I'm so in love with her and the flow of the warrior yet the feminine aspect of the female all tied so well together. And the fact that her wings aren't depicted as white *chef's kiss*. I probably sound like a broken record often, but she is perfection, I love her! Thank you for sharing your self with us! Also!!! I would kill for the darker sided aspect that you described!!!
