But as darkness falls and the court's ceaseless clucking quiets, the queen steps outside. She inhales the crisp night air, her bare toes sinking into the chilly grass as she moves through the moonlit gardens.

I am in the midst of working on our next tutorial: HATCHING. And it is a fun one. This piece is part of the demo for that tutorial! :)) every time I do a lot of hatching and get this really traditional look, I am reminded of how much I love it, and I wonder why I don't always do it. Haha!

Wow, this looks so great!! I love the detail in her hair and dress. Hatching is really a great technique I love it too :D Somehow you always manage to make the details stand out so clearly, even though when you zoom in, it looks scribbly and loose? That's very cool :)
