Hello hello! Here is the time-lapse speedpaint🖌️ with music for: Breath of Night
I worked on this piece as the main demo illustration in the HATCHING TUTORIAL. I have to say, I really love working in this style. I love the texture, hatching and storybook feel of it. You can almost smell the parchment! Just writing about it makes me want to scooch aside my tablet and do some traditional work(even though this piece was created digitally!) haha!
Not only was this piece rendered in a style that I'm so 'drawn' ;)) to, but the subject matter is also very satisfying to me. A queen of Camelot stepping out into the night to shed her courtly duties and take a deep breath of crisp night air. I wrote a little story snippet that goes with this piece. You can read it in the artwork post.
