For this piece, I tried to play a bit with texture. Of course, I normally use texture, but for the areas especially around the face, I focused a bit on trying to get a bit more of a colored pencil texture by not blending all of the "pencil strokes" in the shading. I think it is such a fun look.
Then for areas in the background I tried to lean into a more watercolor wash sort of look. Overall I think it came out pretty interesting!
