Hey all!

As mentioned, I've been re-editing the beginning of this story, as I always felt like it was kind of the weaker part of it, and not everything fit with the later elements that I thought of as I went. This wound up including quite a bit of new stuff, with some extra parts added in the first couple of chapters, as well as effectively 2 new chapters near the end (8-9ish). I'm really pleased with parts of it! But I'd love any feedback about whether this works for you and feels like it fits in with the story as a whole.

I'm continuing to progress in re-editing, and have a couple of parts where I'm considering some more substantial revisions again, maybe another new scene/chapter at one point, etc. Thanks for your patience. It really is kind of a tough call in terms of... maybe I should have just killed the perfectionist in me and forced out an ending months and months ago, but also I want to make something that I'm proud of. And I think I'm getting there... eventually. The hope is that this continued set of revisions will keep me going and give me some momentum such that when I catch back up, everything will be in place to give Josie the ending she deserves.
