Added 2020-11-03 10:19:22 +0000 UTCSo it's been a bit over a year since I've started the patreon and with a lot of hard work I've made some progress. It's not huge, but I appreciate every ounce of support ya'll're giving, especially in these times.
Since the beginning I've had the strict deadline of either one pic or one set of alts per weekday, every weekday, with few exceptions. I've pushed out work at a bit of a ludicrous rate and, unfortunately it's meant sacrificing other aspects to art. Less time for studies that may not make anything neat, but are very important for learning. Less time to figure out those harder problems and consistently falling back on older solutions. Less time for the non digital side of art (such as lasercut woodcuts/acrylics & other fancy manufacturing things) Or 3d art & 2d animation. Or social media to get that whole fan base thing going and post some of the things made here more publicly.
For now I'm going to continue things as normal, feel free to request a character, or palette or species or situation for next week's poll winner in the comments or shoot me a PM. But, in the future, I may announce a change to the structure. Woodcut Wednesdays or work in progress Fridays or sketch and ink dumps or something. Something so that I can still push myself to go quickly, finish projects, and learn, but at the same time have time to really flesh out compositions and create strong narratives & more characters interacting.
