"THE GIRLS, AQUA, KANA, FREAKIN MEM!!" lmaooo Aqua protecting Ruby again by taking over her spot in B-Komachi?! Mem-cho in this episode looked so amazing, loved the ending shot where she looks so happy about being invited to B-Komachi of all idol groups, every time she appears she looks even better somehow and seeing her animated is making me like her character even more. Def my #1 favourite character, sharing the spot with Ai 😂 who are your top 3 favourite characters rn? I feel soo bad for Kana in that one scene, because she was visibly tearing up in the manga, but the anime made it more discreet for some reason. Aqua wrong for doing that to her😔

The BIG one is the scene when Kana was depressed walking in public before Aqua asks her to skip school. When you watch the scene you can tell that the color is blurry and faded like nothing is clear and it's cloudy for Kana. But the moment Aqua comes into the picture and talks to her, you see the colors return and become vibrant. Massive detail about how Kana views Aqua which is both a strength and weakness for her as she is sorta now relying on him to feel that way which is a very good character trait to know in the future. Akane was pretty fire this episode and it showed how much she's grown but still has a lot of room left to go. But the big kicker of this episode was showing/hinting at the dark nature of Aqua's revenge taking over his personality and thoughts. Going so far as using the kindness and gentle person Akane for his own plans. We knew deep down Aqua always wanted to get revenge and that was his big motivator but now we are seeing that revenge is slowly eating away at his soul and becoming hollow bit by bit which is going to lead to future events that could spell disaster for our characters. Amazing episode, one of the best episodes for these details and that final shot with Mem-Cho with the music was pure artistic magic! This anime really is just one giant art piece from start to finish and the studio behind this should be proud of themselves for making such a masterpiece of work honestly. Next episode I heard should be fire as well and something with Mem related of course but also some Kana bits from what I have been told so I cannot wait! PS. Oshi No Ko broke anime history by having the opening song being on number one on the global music charts excluding the US. It is on top of the world. Including US Idol, the opening is still like number 9 in the whole freaking world. So yeah it's pretty amazing.
