You made a great point! Since we are observing from Main, we will keep discovering more and new details of this world even till the near ending of the story. We will also know more about her illness as the illness progresses. But don’t worry, now with the full memory of her past life, Main gets a lot of knowledge and more importantly, a strong willingness to live in order to read/make books. (previously, Main felt that the life is boring painful and pointless, so she wasn’t really tried to fight back her illness)

But because she is so young there's nothing for her to build her character off of hence Motosu can take over although it's really Main. I get it in my head but saying it out loud makes it sound confusing lol

There is still a few I can talk about this world. It is a different world, filled with magic, and the societal development is similar to the 15th to 16th centuries of ours. The class disparities in this world are immense, whether it's between the rich and the poor, nobles and commoners, or even among different nobles. Our poor girl Main is of the lowest class——commoners. But the city her family lives in serves as the capital of a state, and they at least possess citizenship. So, despite the harsh living conditions, they can still afford to raise a weak child like her.

The character "Motosu Urano" in the past life has died and did not take over the current protagonist "Main" with her own consciousness. The current protagonist "Main" has merely received the memories of her past life, nothing more. A person's identity is largely built from their childhood experiences——but Main has been sick since her birth, very weak, and on the verge of dying young, with most of her memories being confined to her bed, hardly experiencing anything in this world. However, the past life memories are not only richer but also longer. Thus, after gaining the memories from her past life, her self-identity is constructed more on those past life memories than on her current life experiences. As a result, she perceives herself as "Motosu Urano", although she is still technically the same child "Main". This is also why most of the time she acts more like a child than an adult, because she is just a child with a decade's worth of someone else's memories, not an adult reincarnated into a child's body.
