The road to 0.2 beta!

The beta release is in sight, after overcoming some big hurdles with supporting the FOV on multiple matrices and with the player matrix detection being complete we now have a few jobs left before we can start handing out beta keys to those who are interested in seeing our progress. 

Some of the major milestones that we have passed since the last post:

- Player matrix detection (sets the player to the correct matrix when the player either enters a shuttle or runs into a station/shuttle when drifting in space)

- New stencil based FoV (this allows the FoV to work across all matrices)

- Network synced matrix movement (for flying the shuttles or repositioning the station)

- Added the nuclear bomb functionality (you can now blow everything up if you have the code)

- Added Syndi role and the Syndicate shuttle

- Added throwing and item matrix detection 

- Set up a build server to automate our builds

- Set up the 0.2 dedicated server (currently only accessible through steam by our engineers)


In Addition to these major milestones we have also:

- Started work on contributor guides (beginning with the basics)

- Started work on the atmos implementation

- Started work on removing the right panel

- Started work on the first game mode
