Not really, lived in my last apartment for my entire relationship with my fiancé atm for like 8+ years and this is our first house together but we are not allowed to do anything of that sort, we are renting and month to month so we can literally be kicked out at any moment if we don't follow our landlord's guidelines I suppose you can say.
