bending the JPEG
Added 2023-03-10 21:26:01 +0000 UTCI was born a film photographer, so the fragility and ephemerality of digital images fascinates and terrifies me.
For the past seven years or so, I've been playing with ways of bending, but not breaking my images. There's something beautiful is the random chaos of digital entropy.
These are a few examples of the results of my process -- I utilize a number of tools to bend and break images, including a few that I programmed myself.
