I love how Goku arrived from heaven like "tf were you gonna do to my sons" and the way he turned super sayian while facing broly. It was like he was bringing that real fire power 💪🔥 In my heart, I believe he was really there❤

2025-01-28 04:07:30 +0000 UTCidk if you still read these comments but the reason Broly hated Goku is because Goku’s crying gives him ptsd, it takes him back to when he was stabbed as a child and it traumatizes him. Also Brolys weakness is that he’s too strong like you said Mike, he has to constantly release energy otherwise he’ll kill himself by basically overdosing on his energy. If you remember in the first movie he says “getting stronger, much stronger” which is translated from the japanese subtitle where he says “my power’s rising, overflowing”, that’s why he was breathing so hard, not because he was tired but because he has too much power and he can’t control it. This is why in the first movie when Goku punched him in the same spot he was stabbed (pure coincidence) he exploded due to his mass amount of energy

But with Goku, the technicality there was Goten saying "I wish dad was here", He didn't wish for Goku to be come back to life. So technically Shenron granted the wish and had Goku there for a few seconds to help. The movie could've alluded to that and gave him a halo, but yeah... Hard to expect from a movie that didn't make much sense for the other 90%
