Gotta love Alexis and people who watch and know what Naruto has gone through and know he doesn’t know who his parents are so we get emotional for him. A testament to how great this show is! The greatest of all time.

The war that the Legendary Sannin earned their title in was the Second Great Ninja War, not the Third. They would also fight in the Third Great Ninja War, but by that time we know Minato had joined the war as that was where he earned his title and reputation from. Jiraiya left the orphans to rejoin the fight once the Third Great Ninja War began. Eventually the conflict even lasted into Kakashi's first few years as a ninja, ending not long after Team Minato's Kannabi Bridge mission. Shortly after the Third Great Ninja War was when Minato was named Fourth Hokage and Orochimaru subsequently deserted the village after Hiruzen discovered his experiments. Tsunade would have retired from doing medical work sometime after as well. Minato was only Hokage for a couple years at most, before his death This makes the discussion of certain aspects of the timeline pretty confusing simply because Episode 127 got that detail wrong, so I thought I'd try to clear it up now lol. For reference, the Rain orphans in these episodes would have been several years younger than Minato, but a few years older than Kakashi. P.S.
