2025-08-30 05:22:42 +0000 UTCBack in part 1 itachi clearly stated that only someone of uchiha blood and who possesses the sharingan would be capable of resisting the mangekyo. Kakashi only partially resisted it because he had a sharingan but was still knocked out by it. A normal ninja would die if hit by it. Sasuke is one of the only people who would be capable of breaking through it. It also doesnt matter how weak itachi is his jutsu doesnt get weaker.

2025-08-04 01:16:16 +0000 UTCWell yes, Sasuke obtaining Orochimaru's power was part of his plan to begin with. Itachi is stronger than Orochimaru, so Sasuke needed all the help he could get. Sasuke acknowledges that the only reason he beat Orochimaru was because he was weakened. Without the Mangekyo Sharingan Sasuke basically needs every boost possible to approach Itachi's level. Even then Sasuke is not close to Itachi's level at this point in time, even with the handicaps Itachi had he could have gone all out from the beginning if he really wanted to beat Sasuke. With his stamina issues in mind, Itachi wouldn't want a long battle
