Tiamat sat straight as the golden light filtered through the balcony windows. Her beloved must have willed the Underworld sky to shine the colors of the Dawn. Speaking of her young Demon lover, her eyes fell upon him.

She stared curiously as he stood not but a few feet away, his arms crossed and a frown of disapproval settling firm on his lips. She tilted her, wondering what had vexed him now.

"Is something the matter, beloved?"

His eyes raked her form, up and down, and Tiamat purred in satisfaction within her mind. She did so love it when she had his rapt attention. And yet, he quickly let out a sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Do you remember, when we first met and were working out our relationship, I had said something along the lines of me hating the idea of someone seeing all of you?"

Tiamat's lips curved pleased as the memory came to the forefront of her mind. He had been so easily flustered in those first few months they had known each other. "Quite. Your endless crusade to put garb me was rather endearing, beloved."

"I'm starting to hate the idea of anyone laying eyes on you, clothed or not."

She blinked in surprise, but quick enough a prideful sense of triumph swelled within her, at having so staunchly caught her man's possessive desire. And it was quickly reinforced by a surge of profound love. That her young love would readily admit to being in love with her, it made it delightfully happy as a woman.

Tiamat leaned back, positioning her shoulders and pushing her chest out invitingly.

"I also recall you saying that there was nothing about my granduer you failed notice," she breathed huskily.

He gave her a flat stare. "I'm pretty sure you're twisting words slightly... you know, humans have this motif in literature, where a beautiful woman is held captive in a tower by a terrible dragon."

"Oh?" A fine, majestic brow rose, even as a savage and carnal glee tore through her chest as he ripped his shirt overhead and tossed it to the ground. A dark hunger began welling within her as she took in the sculpted muscles of his chest and abdomen.

"Yeah," he said as he took a dangerous step forward, his eyes flickering crimson. "I think I'm going to have to subvert that motif and lock the dragon away in my tower."

And Tiamat let out a delighted laugh as he swept her into his arms.
