Does Braixen have paws?

Hi, I was about to post this yesterday, but since it was payday I thought patreon may act weird to you.

This time I wanted to do something with Braixen taking the lead over Mawile. Between the ideas I had, I thought this one might be the easiest to do first. It wasn't that easy.

The mc torso perspective is way much harder to get right than it may appear at first glance; having most of the torso itself foreshortened makes everything hard to represent on paper, or digital paper. But I figured out that relatively quickly, the biggest problem was making Braixen, I tried a lot of different poses and perspectives, but nothing ended up looking right, and then there was the front viewing face, man it was hard to do, no matter what I tried it was always something that looked nothing like her, or something awful.

On one hand I don't want to draw her front view ever again, but on the other hand, I know how to do it now.

I got Mawile basically at the first try though.

Talking a little more about the drawing, I want to talk about some of the things I have to consider when I'm planning the layout.

I have mentioned that I have to consider the image size when adding details, but I also have to take in consideration where the textbox will be placed.

The first few times I didn't think beforehand about that, and the art ended up suffering because of that; the bigger victim in my opinion was Sayoko; on her first art I ended up putting her diagonally to not cover her whole lower body with the text box, and in her second scene the text box ended up covering half her face.

As I said, now I try to have this in consideration, so I have to leave some space with something not that important, but that isn't just a blank space.

This time my original idea was to use the MC torso, to end up with something like this:

Since my original idea was for Braixen to cover most of the upper part of the screen this was the best option at the time, but after redrawing her a lot of times, her tail ended up naturally creating a good negative space, so my idea is now to have something like this:

But that leaves me with a small question, does the textbox on the top annoy any of you?

Since it kind of changes the way you interact with the game, I always had that idea bothering me, that it may be somewhat annoying.

And to finish on a good note, I've been working on some tiles from time to time, since the original 3rd gen, although not ugly by any means, are not the most good looking; and I don't want to take a free one from another site. I thought that making my own will help the game to look better, and have more of its own uniqueness.

I won't replace everything right away, but I plan on slowly replacing all of the base tiles.

So, one of the first things I replaced was the center, and now I want to do the shops, and if you remember correctly, on the green shop, the one where they sell you berries and mints, an NPC mentions the owner being the only one to know a way to harvest the mints.

So, being straightforward about it, that unknow way is linked to a new lewdmon, my idea was to introduce said mon around the same time you fight the second gym leader. And I wasn't planning on talking about it until then, but since I'm giving the shop a face wash, I want to add some thematic decoration to the shop, like a personalized logo or something like that.

So here is when you enter, I need some suggestions of mons that may be harvest themed or related, probably most of your ideas will be grass types, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be a grass type, thinking quickly, Florges comes to my mind.

Either way, I want to read your ideas.
