Both these babs were 3D printed and I'm so so over the moon with the results. I'm dying to make more prints however the overall process to get here isn't exactly a walk in the park and can be rather frustrating. Last night I had an app crash on me and I wasn't saving as frequently as I should have. Also sitting at the computer cutting up your models can be a pain if your commands are too demanding and it takes the computer a few minutes to process each one lol But I do believe it's worth it if I can better execute my ideas without the limitations of clay. Clay will not be completely off the table in the future though! The prints will just be a bit more pricey since the materials are much more expensive.
Would like to save up for a bigger printer so I'd have to cut the models a lot less. Also Akuma's missing a chunk of his arm on the left because I didn't support that side properly and I didn't want to reprint it cuz that's a lot of resin, so I'll just be filling in that gap with Apoxie ffff
Side note; I have this fantasy of making Prize Catcher/Catchapon Gang prints where I print two copies of a statue of each member's character/sona. One for me that will be sprayed in a maybe gold/silver coat (made one color to save on time lol) and the other that will be sent out to their character's owner that is painted accurately. And my statues will be on display in a little area so I can have a little physical representation of you guys aaa Though something like that would take A LOT of time to do so maybe it's just a fantasy or an idea for the far future when things settle down for myself hhh but other than that someday I would still like to model and print some of the characters you guys have had me drawing so much of ;w; <3
