This replay was recorded at the live online class and contains all the info you need to take part in this one-off session focusing on approaches to using monoprint in a life drawing session. Materials you’ll need
Oil-based or water-based relief ink
A non-porous flat surface (e.g. an acrylic/Perspex, glass or aluminium sheet)
A roller (brayer)
Lightweight paper (e.g. newsprint, cartridge paper or printmaking paper)
Drawing tools (e.g. ballpoint pens, graphite pencils, graphite sticks or charcoal)
Mark-making tools (e.g. blending stumps, cotton buds, erasers, paintbrushes, cutlery, playing cards, wooden skewers)
Masking tape
Scissors
A ruler
Rubber or latex gloves
Rags or paper towels
Dishwashing liquid
Vegetable oil or mineral spirit (for cleaning oil-based inks)
