Going over some old submissions that I wrote ages ago made me feel a tad nostalgic for when times were simpler, though I'm a far better writer now than what I was in years past. My words are gooder now.
I felt that my previous Rocket piece in particular was incomplete, which is why I actually started working on the sequel to it in the month after I submitted the first part (specifically because of that one See-Saw pic posted literally that same day).
Then life got in the way and I was reduced to having next to no time to myself for 2/3 of the year, so it just sat on the backburner while I waited for another chance to work on it.
Then my hard drive died. Needless to say I was devastated at not only the loss of unfinished stories I had saved, but also losing literally everything else I had on my computer. I've learned quite a bit about better storage practices since then, don't worry.
Which brings us to right now. I've still had the idea for a sequel in my head the whole time, but this year felt incredibly busy to explore it as fully as I wanted to. Any time I had time to work on it, I just felt too exhausted to want to write.
So here we are. I have time and energy, and I wanted to keep this tale going. Hope this is a good first Patreon post!
