Hell's Songbird 6 - still has a fair bit to go before it's ready. Currently re-writing part of it that didn't feel right. Once I get 134 finished, I'll focus on this chapter.
I've set a goal tonight, so letting folks know, just to hold myself accountable.
My current goal is to alternate a chapter for each of the side stories each week after I get the two chapters for Abyssal Road Trip written.
So that makes it somewhere about 15k of words a week post-editing. Which considering the amount I normally chop out and/or re-write, it will be interesting to see if I can meet that goal.
The only caveat to this will be: If a short story mugs me, and won't leave me in peace, that will probably be the alternative chapter for that week.
This happened with both Klipyl and Ilya - they wouldn't let me go until they had said their piece. I spent many hours trying to get Klipyl to move back to her spot in the line—fruitlessly, of course.
