- The icon to ask Aly to help her weight lifting is not shown --> apply quick fix file "characters.rpyc" to fix this
How to apply a quick fix file?
Open the folder where you installed Holiday Islands. Then navigate down to the folder named "game". Copy the file there and confirm to overwrite the existing file(s).
Comments
Must be something with your PC or configuration. There should be a log and a traceback file in the game folder. Check those if there is any indication of what might have happened. Sounds like a major graphic card or driver problem to me.

2022-12-10 10:03:41 +0000 UTCI just had something REALLY weird happen. I had upped my looks level to 11, and the screen went white and the game basically crashed. I lost everything I had back to my most recent save. There was nothing to indicate what exactly was wrong, no error message of any kind. *UPDATE* OK, now when I'm playing it, it will happen randomly causing the game to completely shut down. Getting pretty aggravating to be honest.

2022-12-08 03:41:45 +0000 UTCYou probably have a corrupted persistent file in your user data. Navigate to this folder and delete the file named "persistent". You need to enable viewing hidden files to do so. C:\Users\"yourusername"\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Island-1499865023 You also need to delete the file named "persistent" in your holiday island save folder. After that, the game should start again.

2022-10-23 10:24:01 +0000 UTCI can't play the game for some reason. I haven't done anything with the game. It didn't start, I clicked the game icon but it didn't open the game.
