Version 0.3.7 - development news (updated 1st of February 2023)

Hi guys and gals,

this post offers you a collection of news about the next version of Holiday Island (0.3.7).

You can see the main focus and side areas for the next update in the above image.

The change log below is based on the release 0.3.6.0.

As of right now, the update from 0.3.6.0 to 0.3.7.0 has:

New features and content

• Ivy gets a new night bar drink scene in her skimpy outfit --> will be part of 0.3.7.0

• Amy's beach walk scene has been remade, enhanced and newly rendered in 2560x1440 --> will be part of 0.3.7.0

• Alice gets new renders and an update to her basic nightwear and skimpy night nightwear drink scenes --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Alice's arrival scene gets an update to the renders and the dialogue --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Faye gets an update to he drink scene at the bar when she wears her sexy outfit. It includes a story and four achievements --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Faye gets an update to he drink scene when she wears her skimpy outfit. It includes a story and an achievement --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Faye gets a new drink scene with two achievements at the bar on the red sofa wearing her basic evening dress --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Lacey's pool play sccene has been remade with her updated character. This concludes her conversion.
• Yvette gets an update to the event where you catch her in her room having a shower --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Yvette gets a new shower scene with the MC in her room --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Yvette gets an update to her pool swim scene with some new extras and a posing sene --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Yumiko's last call scene at the night bar gets new images in high res and webp format --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Jessica's night swim renders at the pool have been upgraded to 2560x1440 using AI upscaling. Animation and dialogue have been improved too. --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Jessica gets a new arrival scene in high res with improved dialogue and additional images --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Alice private pole dance scene in the pink room has been rendered again in 2560x1440 webp format. New images and an animation have been added. The dialogue has been improved and partially rewritten. --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Alice gets an update to her sperm congestion scene at the doctor's office, which inludes hight res web images and three achievements --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Alice pole dance sene at the bar has been rendered again in 2560x1440 webp format. Some new images have been added and the dialogue has been remade from scratch --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Alice's "school girl" reward scene is updated to 2560x1440 webp format --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Faye gets a short wellness massage tease scene in her new sexy outffit --> will be part of 0.3.7.0

• Ivy gets a web search event posing for the Young & Fit magazine --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Amy gets a new event where she has sex with the player in the ladies room of the night bar (this partially reuses existing renders, mixed with new ones) --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Amy gets a new event where she has sex with the player in the green room in the night bar (this partially reuses existing renders, mixed with new ones) --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• When some girls are horny and their love is high enough, they can initiate sex events --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• The phone gets a major update with backgrounds to select, new icons and more cool stuff --> will be part of 0.3.7.0

Minor improvements and changes

• Ivy gets a personalized intro page with some bakground information --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Faye gets a short groping scene in her skimpy evening wear --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Amy gets a new web search for swimwear created after her High School time --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• The file structre of rpy files has been changed. Now there are more files which are smaller --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Amy gets a new quest about an incident in her senior year at High School --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Faye's scene in the blue/green room gets some image and conversation updates --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Ivy gets a short scene when she gets a present wearing her sexy bikini --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Sara gets a short scene flashing her breasts in her pink evening dress --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Faye gets a short scene posing her butt in her skimpy evening wear --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Faye gets a replacement for her sexy evening outfit and all her evening sprites have been remade and emotions have been added --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Alice gets two new evening dresses and new high res sprites with emotions for all her evening outfits --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Icons and keyboard shortcuts for quick save and load have been added --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Jennifer's last call scene at the night bar gets new images in high res and webp format --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• File structure and content for scenes, events and appointments have been cleaned up. A lot is under the hood, but will redue time in the future. Some ahievements have been converted to multi image and triggers and requirements have been added. --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Flashing breasts at the restaurant has been added to the special action achievements --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Menu choices are moved to the right of the screne, so that they are no longer blocking the view. They will also be nicer and smalelr overal --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• The text to speach for the AI voice can be switched off now in the preferences --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Amy gets emotions for her swimwear sprites, her night wear sprites and a resolution upgrade for all her actions --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Images for player actions (relax, jog, train) have been upgraded to double resolution webp format --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Company favor changes will be displayed on the left side now --> will be part of 0.3.7.0
• Sperm sample donation at the doctor will be done with the total quantity for each type now --> will be part of 0.3.7.0

Bug fixes

• In Yvette's pole dance scene, there was an inconsistency with the wardrobe and when she had a drink with you afterwards, image overlays were messed up --> will be fixed with 0.3.7.0
• In certain cases a girl's location could be shown as "restaurant", but she wasn't in the restaurant --> will be fixed with 0.3.7.0
• Groping a girl at the restaurant lead to blocking the grope action for other girls as well --> will be fixed with 0.3.7.0
• When you send a girl home who was the current doctor, she could roam the doctor's office as a ghost (invisible, but still talking to you) --> will be fixed with 0.3.7.0
• Deliza could show up twice as a nurse in the doctor's office --> will be fixed with 0.3.7.0
• After the message for the ankle check, Sara didn't show up at your room teh next morning when you did more than 2 actions at the restaurant --> will be fixed with 0.3.7.0
• Action icon for Aly's weight lifting was missing --> fixed with 0.3.6.1
• When you were not in your room when Sara picks you up for the ankle checkup, wrong overlay images were shown. In addition, the overlay UI on the right was shown --> will be fixed with 0.3.7.0
