Preparing the future of Blaston.

Now that Haven is more or less complete, where will we be going now?

Well, one thing that has become clear while I worked on Haven is that a majority of you want content that adds more life to Blaston. So more school events, home events, work stuff and general life around town. With that in mind, it is where I will be focusing my attentions for the foreseeable future.

The past week I have been working on the art and events for Sammy's bedroom "alone time fun" as well as updating the art for the shower and making a new one for the game to randomly choose between. Sammy also hasn't had much new to add to her wardrobe for a while so I decided to give her a new top.

I have also been working on some documents to show plans of what I will be doing next. This is not a comprehensive list and some parts are subject to change based on feedback, so if you have anything you would like to suggest I would love to hear about it.

Updates document - This is to give everyone an idea of what I have planned for the upcoming updates and to pitch in thoughts and ideas. It is missing details on some areas and factions but has most of the major plans.

Event possibilities document - This one lists a few aspects of the game where the direction isn't clear and I would like to hear thoughts about. It relates to Sammy's living conditions, birth control and game perks.

I will also be switching to a monthly update schedule. While working on Haven, it was a bit too large and interwoven to do so, but no reason now to not have regular planned releases. I am aiming to release publicly around the 1st of the month but this may shift a little depending on the day of the week or holidays. Patrons will of course get much earlier access to builds.

I think next week I will putting a poll up on what areas of the game you would like to see focused on first so keep your eyes out for that.

Hey Sam, my thoughts: - Confidence stat: it's basically the only part of your game I don't like: you're using it more like a "corruption stat", while I'd find far more interesting using it to express two character types: one with low confidence, one with high confidence. Take the bully example: a MC with high confidence would resist the bully (or if not it would be because of an external cause and her reactions in the naughty bits would be unique), a MC with low confidence would be unable to resist (unless with external help, and her reactions would be oc different). Apply the same to all the major events, the easy way (for the content already here) would be to grey out some "escape routes" for the MC with low confidence, and let a MC with high confidence multiple ways\chances to get out of trouble. A *corruption stat* would be separate and linked to the "sex stats" and specific choices (= when the MC choose to not even try to avoid the naughty route to solve a problem) I know it's not easy but if you ask me you totally need to adjust this while you still can)

A "confidence flatmate" could easily be a girl that likes to go out partying and encourages Sammy to go with her and do more and more reckless things while they're out drinking. Looking forward to the upcoming updates, namely school events and whatever quest will give the exhibitionism perk!
