The Fixer next steps pt2

This Sunday progress report would just be me saying I have been monitoring bugs and managing the release. Not very interesting, So in this post I will be talking more about what I will be doing for the next release.

Flatmates pt1 ended up taking a lot longer to see a public release than I had planned for 2 reasons. 

1, I ended up really enjoying writing the Robin content and got a bit carried away. Expanding her way beyond the original plan for her. Unlike with Charlie (crossdresser) and Jason (Outcast), being a tomboy doesn't come inherently with a story attached to the character trope, so I kind of let her write her own story. I just sat down and wrote her introducing herself and let the writing go where it wanted to. I tend to do this with most characters but Robins blank slate meant I very much got carried away. 

She also ended up with more content than I have room for. The whole beach side of things will probably be removed as there just isn't enough time in the days to have her there. With the new beach group added though I don't see that as a problem. Sammy will have more than enough to do there.

2, Because I didn't realise how much content Robin would end up having, I spread myself a little too thin in adding in other stories and characters. This lead to there being a lot of unfinished content spread over a large portion of the game. Made it so it took a lot longer to wrap things up when I was pushing for a public release. 

With that in mind, I am going to cut the next major release into smaller portions and tackle them one by one. As mentioned in this post, I will be focusing the next release on street prostitution, dance girls, photo questline and clean up/completing stuff from the previous release.

Prostitution. This one will probably be the largest on the list to do. It will involve expanding Cass and Mira as characters, doing their storyline, creating the whole truck stop district (which includes the motel and highway) and writing a whole bunch of sex scenes which will probably be accompanied by some new art CGs. There will probably also be other side characters introduced as other street whores or customers. 

This will be the main focus of the update and is the whole reason I am pushing this before Flatmates part 2. As long as this story is done, the update as a whole can be considered done and everything else if need be can be pushed into another update. So as you can imagine it will be taking heavy priority.

Dance girls. This will be the smallest one on the list as there is only one main chapter left to go, some aftermath scenes and then possibly post story content. I may also use this section to add the girls into the world as NPCs you can interact and talk with much like you can with Robin and Jaylee. This may also include adding Dani to the bar job and photo story, Rachel to the soccer boys group and not sure what else with the other girls.

This is on the list mostly because completing it is in high demand and it relies on the prostitution story being in for me to complete. It could probably be pushed into another update but I would like this story done so that there can be nice character interaction between the dance girls and flatmates when I do Flatmates pt2.

Photo storyline. The size of this one is unknown, but there is no way I will finish it in this section as I will kind of design it to be able to be endlessly added onto. But I have decided to remake it more story based with event mini chains. You will go to Felix, he will tell you the jobs he has available, pick one and you will be locked into that chain until completed and once it is, pick a new chain. The event chains will be more story heavy and non repeatable and virgin runs will have to avoid entire chains if they wish to stay pure. 

This is purely on the list because it's something I am really eager to work on and quite excited about. I could kick it further down the road with no problems but I want something story heavy on this list to work on so I have some variety of things to do. Working on very similar content all the time can become tiresome.

Flatmate pt1 clean up. There are still quite a few sex scenes needing to be written. Robin x soccer boys, Robin x Oskar, Sammy x Oskar, Sammy x Beach dealer and probably some I am forgetting. Home life/rent needs expanded on a little and Emile early game events need to be properly done.
