Events while missing clothes
Added 2024-09-22 19:07:52 +0000 UTCThis week I have been having fun with events while Sammy has some or all of her clothes missing. In the beginning, Sammy is of course terrified to be outside naked and very often will hide somewhere or refuse to go into a populated area while too exposed.
If she dos manage it though, there is a variety of events. Most are just guys happy for the show. Some get a little too handsy while others actually offer clothes. Though there might be a price.
It's been fun writing this stuff because it's the first time I have been able to hook events into the street prostitution sex scenes when a unique scene isn't needed. It also made me realise I need a larger collection of oversized men's clothes for Sammy to get hold of.
I was also wrestling with what to do when Sammy is naked, embarrassed and around the town? I can't really have her complaining how terrified she is being naked in public then just go for a run in the park like everything is normal.
The best solution would of course be to add naked dialogue to every scene in the game. But if I did that, a year would pass and we would still be waiting for the update. So I have instead had to block her from doing most actions until she is properly dressed.
There is now an icon where Sammy will look for clothes. Normally she would scav for them. But I have started adding in new events where if a friendly NPC is in the area, she will ask them for some clothes. There is also the option of asking random passer by's for some help. But we all know what price they will want for it.
But if Sammy is more willing to indulge in going around naked on purpose, she can decide to go to the highway. There are a lot of barely dressed women there and seeing someone naked wouldn't be such a shocking sight. It will be something she will tell to Rachel once I get back to writing her events.
Currently I am fighting with getting the balance right and making sure there is a smooth transition from early game embarrassment to later game acceptance so that players can get to see as many of the events as possible.

Yeah good point actually, didn’t think about that. I totally agree that the students wouldn’t really care or change their behavior because of it. I do feel like pure Sammy probably wouldn’t like being mistaken for a whore though.

2024-09-22 19:49:30 +0000 UTCWhile that certainly sounds intriguing, I think Sam believes not many of the students would care if Sammy is a whore, and thus such blackmail would be ineffective. (For the record, this is why the planned “New Friend” NPC was scrapped.)

2024-09-22 19:47:01 +0000 UTCAn interesting idea would be for if she’s naked and goes to the highway, that there’s a random chance that someone from school sees and recognizes her, and spreads rumors that she’s a whore, leading to NPCs muttering to each other (and/or make fun of/insult you directly) at random when you’re at school, like the existing random chatter. Maybe some friendly NPCs ask about it as well. Alternatively, that person who saw you could use it as blackmail, and maybe even took pictures. Depending on her sluttiness/exhibitionism, she’ll be either obedient or not care at all. Maybe if you refuse everything, they release the pics and spreads rumors leading to my first idea. Just a couple of things I just came up with. I think Sammy, especially with low sluttiness/exhibitionism, wouldn’t like it if she were mistaken/falsely branded as a whore.
