Disparities that are too great: his Disparity of how he felt about deku was overriden by pride so he couldn't see his own Weakness Fear and rejection: he feared dekus heart so that led to rejection of deku altogether And misunderstandings: He misunderstood dekus intent to help because he has a good heart as deku looking down on him. Not only is bakugos current growth Written wonderfully, he continues to keep growing. He even said "we'll do it all together".
