⑬ flathack, v2
Added 2019-12-14 06:21:25 +0000 UTCHello! Sorry, I got food poisoning or something, which is one of the worst common things that can just sort of happen to your body!
Despite everything, I am here with a modest upgrade to flathack, which I've decided looks better in lowercase:
- Art, kindly donated by my spouse glip;
- Rooms that aren't rectangles;
- Slightly less repetitive worldgen overall, I hope;
- Obstacles (that actually stop you this time) and keys in a progression order;
- The ability to hold a key down to move like in any regular video game rather than having to furiously mash an arrow key;
- And more! Well, probably not.
I'm enjoying this, and especially enjoying the constraint of making it a single floor and low-complexity affair, so I'll probably come back to it after advent is done and play with it some more. I'd like it to be a fun time-waster that's just surprising enough to keep your interest but not quite deep enough that you wish it were a real roguelike.
