We're back.
Added 2024-05-07 13:02:54 +0000 UTCtl;didn't read all that yapping: mom surgery went well, had artblock, been playing with Ren'Py to break out of the artblock (and it's working!)
Without delving much to details, mom got hospitalized and sent for surgery a month ago.
New hospital protocols since covid meant that one helper stayed at the hospital, so I'm the one to do the trips and take care of the house, also had a big bout of artblock and such... but that's well over with.
Here are some sketches of Nono. Backgrounds are not made by me, I used some from other VNs. The poses are also hard referenced from them.
They're used for some test scenes in Ren'Py, using out some new features I never noticed during these couple years. I think they're neat and they offer quite a lot of new approach to the medium, or at least I'm able to copy some stuff from Blue Archive.

So am making a VN? Not.. yet. I'm still really on the fence on making something big or small.
There have been some projects that eventually halted due to circumstances, so I think I'm a bit averse to plan more just to end up putting it aside and not actually put out something.
But this is fixing that. Start small, then eventually I'll make something that I like on a slightly bigger scale and so on.
