THE MAKING OF BATTLE-DAMAGED SHE-RA

Hey everyone! It's time to pull back the curtain a little, and give you all a sneak peek at my creative process. Several steps are required to create my unique brand of superheroine peril artwork. Some tasks are easier than others. The process of adding battle damage to a character's skin and clothing is one of the more time consuming steps, but it is highly rewarding. I lowered the opacity of her costume so you can see the heavy damage she has sustained to her breasts, abs, crotch, etc... In this post, I am sharing how I add cuts, blood, and bruises to the model's skin texture mats. Right now, I'm working on Volume 2 of She-Ra vs. Horde Titan Troopers. In the first volume, my She-Ra model did not show any signs of damage from her battle with the Titan Troopers. In the next episode, She-Ra will have lots of visible injuries and her skimpy costume will be torn and tattered. For those interested, the model I'm using for She-Ra is "Vivienne" by Vyhktoria. You can purchase this model on the Renderosity website: https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/127278/vyk-vivienne-for-g8fv8 If you do purchase this model, or already own it, then please feel free to use these texture mats in your renders. More to come soon!
