New Contacts... Unfortunately

I was really excited to test out these new contacts that arrived last minute. A fellow Ann cosplayer was really into them when I ordered them, but she grew cool towards them soon after... But I was still hoping they would look nice and thought they might soon my cozy pj shoot better.

In terms of covering my brown eyes, they were very effective. They looked light even in crummy bathroom lighting like this. They WERE much more blue in better lighting, but... I feel like I still didn't look good. I kept them on for the whole shoot since I already had all the makeup on, but I really regret it. They didn't ruin ALL of the photos, but I wish I'd saved my money and stuck with the old style. Maybe I can fix the photos when I receive them...

It's just such a pity because I have been waiting for this shoot a very long time. Ah well, you live and learn. No more springing new contacts into a shoot before having a chance to test them out properly!
